As an allrounder with a deep knowledge of marketing and the digital space, a love for brand & design, and the ambition to produce campaigns from A-Z, I am a combination of entrepreneur and creative.
My journey began at the renowned Institute of Design in Berlin (graduated in 2014), where I completed my diploma in Creative Direction and Branding. Besides being taught by some of Germany’s best advertisers, directors and concept developers, my time there also allowed me to dive into what I like to call the ‘Berlin Valley’ culture. While studying, I joined the founding team of Amorelie as Creative Director and later even launched my own brand Leinentausch, together with Vanessa Lewerenz Bourmer, where I was the CMO and Marketing Director. I also worked for several large brands like Emmi, Kaltbach, the BER (Berlin Airports), Villeroy & Boch, Douglas, die Zeit Online.
Together with my husband as CFO, we created Heat Creative Agency in 2015, leading a team of nine people to create online and offline campaigns for clients like Deutscher Tierschutz (our favorite!), among many others. He was also my partner in crime for Berlin Stuff, a label that sells independently made fashion crafted in Berlin, inspired by a road trip along the American West Coast.
One of the defining experiences was my time as Creative Marketing Director for the Social Chain Group AG. Producing content for social media, advertisements, and business concepts, I helped the Social Chain companies and partners such as Die Höhle der Löwen find there place in the global media market and help as a consultant to build up these companies successfully. Thanks to these experiences, I have attracted leading brands which want to increase their potential, such as
InsurTech company Coya (now Luko), which are backed by 30 million euro in startup capital.
After a $10 million USD investment round, 8fit (now part of Withings) brought in a new leadership team for the purpose of repositioning the brand, and I had the privilege of being part of this team as the Head of Marketing. This role allowed me to channel my personal passion for sports and health.
I was able to further pursue this passion at Humanoo, Europe's largest health platform for corporate wellness. As the Chief Marketing Officer, I focused on the B2B2C and B2I (Business to Insurance) sectors, and we successfully raised an additional $10 million USD in Series B funding. During my time at Humanoo, I not only led an international team but also had the opportunity to enhance my marketing and business management skills.
These experiences at both 8fit and Humanoo have provided me with valuable insights and allowed me to develop further a strong foundation in marketing and leadership.
